“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
— John 14:1-4
As you begin your day, spend few moments in silence and stillness. As you do, recall any words or phrases that stood out to you from the passage that you just read. Whisper them aloud if you wish.

Waves move in patterns. Patterns move in rhythms. A human being is just that, energy, waves, patterns, and rhythms. Nothing more. Nothing less. A dance.
God is not only known by thinking, but also by experiencing and loving. Let your mind take a back seat and tune in to the sensations of each part of your body.
Once you experience God as all-vulnerable, then perhaps God stands in solidarity with all pain and suffering in the universe, allowing us to be participants in our own healing. (CAC)
As your day draws to a close, spend a few moments in silence and stillness. Let your mind take a back seat and tune in to the sensations of each part of your body. Take a deep breath in. As you exhale let the muscles of your body relax and be in a state of rest.
Father in heaven, the hope of my eternal home with you offers visions of a goodness and glory that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has ever imagined, but yet I was made for. Give me a faith-filled imagination that finds ways to loop the hope of heaven back into today, living more of your life here and now. Amen. (HC)
