Get Woke
“Awake O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
There’s a phrase that, if you search for it online, won’t take you very long to find a wealth of information about. It is the phrase, “to get woke.”
If you keep following the links and the threads, you’ll start to see that to “get woke” or to “be woke” is precisely what this passage from Ephesians is trying to get us to put into practice in our daily lives.
