Day 231, Morning

Today’s morning meditation is available below in audio and script formats. The audio version is also available for free download on the player.

Quiet

As your day begins, spend a few moments in silence and stillness.

Reading

The Lord loves goodness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.

By the words of God the heavens were made, the stars by the breath of his mouth.

He gathers the waters of the sea into jars and he puts the deep into storehouses.

Let all the earth tremble. Let all the people stand in awe.

—Psalm 33 (OT)

Dwelling

Read the passage again. What is God saying to you through the words?

Prayer

God of blessing, what a mess I create when I wrestle the future out of your hand and take it upon myself. I pray for patient trust for today and good confidence for tomorrow, knowing that nothing can separate me from your love. Amen. (HC)
