Today’s evening meditation is available below in audio and script formats. The audio version is also available for free download on the player.

Reading

May the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is I Am.

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. He places the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing.

—Psalm 68 (OT)

Quiet

As your day draws to a close, spend a few moments in silence and stillness.

Blessing

God, be gracious to you and bless you and make his face shine on you so that his ways may be known on earth in your words, in your deeds, and in your pursuits.

—Psalm 67 (OT)
